Due Date: 29th/30th April (2nd music period of the week)
- Log into http://www.wikipedia.com/ and run a search on JAZZ
- In the contents you will find many different styles of jazz (ie. Swing, Bebop, Cool Jazz etc.)
- Choose one of these styles to research
- Find at least 3 references (internet sites, books) to read and gather information about the style
- Information can include:
- - what year or time period it was created
- - where it was created and by which people
- - any specific characteristics of the style (is it a mix of different jazz? what makes it unique from other styles etc.)
- - musicians that were influential in the style and any other relevant information
- The assignment should no shorter than 200 words.
- You must have a bibliography (a list of your references)
